Meet Bassant Kadry
Bassant Kadry is a Maryland leader, consultant, and community builder whose career spans human development, mental-health care, and education.
As President of MBK Human Development, Bassant directs a consultancy specializing in HR development, leadership training, and workforce solutions — designing programs that strengthen organizational culture and partnering with educational and medical institutions to align talent with mission-driven growth.
As Executive Director of Equilibrium For Mental Care, she leads a multidisciplinary psychiatry practice delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental-health services, expanding access to affordable care across Maryland, and championing community partnerships that promote awareness and early intervention.
Her earlier career includes certified early-childhood training with the Maryland State Department of Education, regional organization-development leadership across Maryland learning centers, and senior human-resources work with Schneider Electric in Cairo, Egypt — where she built career-management systems and reduced recruitment cycle time by half.
Bassant holds a Human Resources International Diploma from The American University in Cairo and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ain Shams University. She brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to service to the Frederick County community she now seeks to represent.
